The Lost Museum
Jelly is delighted to be running The Lost Museum, informal drawing workshops throughout Reading Contemporary Art Fair.
This is an opportunity for all ages to delve into The Lost Museum, a place where things have been lost and found… and through drawing they are ready to become part of your story.
We invite you to join us at The Lost Museum to take inspiration, from our collections of objects and use them to create drawings using, collage, stitch and print.
The objects we have owned remind us of who we are, why we’re here and where we’ve been. When we look at something, or acquire something the object is one half of it, the other half comes from us, the catalyst that triggers all kinds of ideas, feelings, memories and associations.
The workshops are free of charge and suitable for all ages and abilities- under 5's will require adult supervision.
Young visitors to the fair can show us just how much they know about art (probably more than mum and dad) by filling out a questionnaire about art techniques and artists exhibiting at the fair. There will of course be prizes!

We have always found that art and wine are natural partners and have therefore invited M-Wines to come along for the weekend and share their knowledge, passion and fantastic range of specially selected wines.
M-Wines commissions talented winemakers to make their 'dream wine', they put their name on the label and release them in limited editions of just 1,000 numbered bottles. With every M-Wine the winemaker writes a short biography with the story behind their wine
