Welcome to the third Reading Contemporary Art Fair. Our events have always been about bringing thrilling new art to the widest possible audience. We present our exhibitors in a relaxed but professional setting, giving them the best platform to showcase their work while allowing them to talk about their art directly with the public. Our aim is to de-mystify the art world and make it truly accessible to everyone.

Exhibitors include artists from all over the UK, Europe and a strong contingent from the local area. Newly qualified and established artists can be found alongside a number of galleries showing work by accepted masters and fresh new talent. Visitors can expect to see an inspirational range of artwork and the fair is a unique opportunity for new and experienced collectors to view and buy direct from artists and also benefit from the informed collections from a number of leading galleries. The atmosphere is informal, friendly and relaxed with something for everyone.

Reading Contemporary Art Fair intends to be a prominent annual arts event for the area, promoting art to the general public as well as acting as a successful sales forum for artists.

The interactive element of the fair is very important; visitors will be able to participate in workshops by Reading's own artists' group, Jelly. These will include printing and drawing drop-in sessions. We encourage everyone to join in the workshops, they are great fun, and have been known to completely change people's perceptions of their own artistic capabilities.

As with the Windsor Contemporary Art Fair we will again be working with The Prince's Trust, our chosen charity, raising funds and awareness. Over the course of the fair miniature canvases will be for sale for £40 each. These are created and donated by exhibiting artists and are sold on a separate stand with all proceeds going to the Trust. The monies raised go towards the very worthy work carried out by the Trust helping young and disadvantaged people. For more information about the work they do click on the Prince's Trust logo on the menu.
